      Members of the French National Assembly Thierry Mariani and Nicolas Dhuicq joined Orthodox Armenian Christians for an Orthodox Christmas Eve mass at Aleppo’s Church of the Holy Mother of God, Friday.

      Members of the faithful confessed their sins and prayed for forgiveness during a ceremony presided over by Orthodox priests.

      During their five-day visit the French lawmakers are expected to meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Foreign Minister Walid Moualem.
