      Russia: China and Russia sign more than 20 documents on bilateral cooperation

      Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Chinese Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang signed more than 20 agreements on cooperation in numerous areas, including nuclear energy, customs offences, and humanitarian issues in St. Petersburg on Monday.

      The ceremony followed a day of talks between the two countries' delegations led by. Among the deals were protocols on cultural cooperation, meetings of the heads of the two countries on a regular basis, as well as protocol on the outcome of the first inspection of the Russian-Chinese border. Other agreements were also penned by Russia's Deputy Prime Ministers Olga Golodets and Dmitry Rogozin, the Head of the Federal Archival Agency Andrey Artizov, and Gazprom CEO Aleksey Miller

      Earlier in the day Medvedev and Li met in the Konstantinovsky Palace to discuss trade-economic cooperation as well as interaction within the "UN, G20, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, and BRICS."
