SOT, Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate (English): "Well, I think the dishonesty of the media. The media has been unbelievably dishonest. They'll take any statement that you make, which is perfect, and they'll cut it up and chop it up and shorten it and lengthen it or do something with it. And all of a sudden, it doesn't look as good as it did when you actually said it. But there is tremendous dishonesty with the media. Not all of it, obviously, but tremendous dishonesty."

SOT, Larry King, television host (English): "And that surprised you?"

SOT, Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate (English): "Yeah, to the extent, it surprised me. I mean I knew that that would happen but I never thought to this extent."

SOT, Larry King, television host (English): "And that was Bush."

SOT, Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate (English): "We should have never gone in. But once we went in Larry, we shouldn't have gotten out the way we got out and the way they got out really caused ISIS, if you think about it."

SOT, Larry King, television host (English): "But we got out."

SOT, Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate (English): "We got out in such a horrible foolish fashion."

SOT, Larry King, television host (English): "But we had a timetable."

SOT, Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate (English): "Leaving some troops behind. Hey, I didn't want to go in but once you go in you've to get out the right way. And Obama just took everybody out and it was like a shock to the system. And ultimately ISIS developed and now we have them in 26 to 28 countries. It's a disaster."

SOT, Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate (English): "Well, I'd look at that very strongly. I would take a very hard look at that. I've been reading about it. I've been hearing about it. I'll take a good look at it, Larry."

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump condemned US foreign policy in Iraq and reproached the American media for its "tremendous dishonesty" during a phone interview with Larry King on RT America, Thursday.

During the interview, Trump spoke about the American intervention in Iraq and the Middle East, saying "we should have never gone into Iraq" and noting "but once we went in Larry, we shouldn't have gotten out the way we got out, and the way they got out really caused ISIS."

He added "we got out in such a horrible foolish fashion," elaborating that "leaving some troops behind" was "like a shock to the system," which he claims to have led to ISIS. "And ultimately ISIS developed and now we have them in 26 to 28 countries. It's a disaster," the Republican presidential candidate said.

During the interview, Trump also denounced the US press corps, saying "the media has been unbelievably dishonest. They'll take any statement that you make, which is perfect, and they'll cut it up and chop it up and shorten it and lengthen it or do something with it. And all of a sudden, it doesn't look as good as it did when you actually said it. But there is tremendous dishonesty with the media."

Trump also expressed that if he were to win the forthcoming presidential election, he would "take a good look at" legislation allowing the families of 9/11 victims to sue the Saudi Arabian government.
