UK: Leicester fans cheer triumphant team after Premier League win
Thousands of people came out onto the streets of Leicester, Monday, to celebrate Leicester City Football Club following their first English Premier League win.
The footballers rode through the city centre for over two hours, triumphantly displaying the Premier League trophy to their supporters. The parade started in the early evening at Jubilee Square and ended in Victoria Park, where local fans put on a party following the parade.
Leicester City was considered an outsider at the start of the season with a 5,000-1 quota for the title. However, they became England champions with a result that extended their end-of-season unbeaten run to 12 matches.
