SOT, journalist (French): "What are you going to say?"

SOT, Sepp Blatter, former FIFA President (French): "I can't tell you what I will say because I asked so many questions to myself, I will now answer the questions and I will answer in the most conscious way possible. And I will tell facts as they happened. But I just answer questions, I can't tell you what questions as I am a witness."

SOT, journalist (French): "How do you feel about seeing Mr Platini again?"

SOT, Sepp Blatter, former FIFA President (French): "-I will be pleased to see him again because it's been a while since I saw him. Indeed, it will be nice to see him again."

SOT, journalist (French): "What is this 2 million euro payment?"

SOT, Sepp Blatter, former FIFA President (French): "Look I'm a witness here, I will say something later but for the moment I can say nothing. Thank you."

Former FIFA President Sepp Blatter arrived at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Friday, to give evidence at the appeal hearing of former UEFA President Michel Platini who is attempting to have his six-year ban from all football-related activities overturned.

Platini and Sepp Blatter were both handed eight-year bans in December over a £1.3m (€1.8m) 'disloyal' payment. Football's world governing body then reduced their terms by two years, after taking their services to the game into consideration.

According to Secretary General of the Court of Arbitration for Sport Matthieu Reeb a result is likely to come next week and ahead of the UEFA Annual Congress that is scheduled for May 3.
