
Israel: Plane makes emergency landing in sea off Tel Aviv beach
A light aircraft lost control over Tel Aviv on Sunday, en route to the city's Sde Dov airport, and was forced to make an emergency landing in the sea nearby.
Two people were injured in the emergency descent, aged 57 and 47. They were the only people on board at the time and were subsequently taken to Ichilov Hospital for treatment, according to reports.
In an attempt to rescue the stranded passengers, two bystanders sustained minor shoulder injuries.
