      Turkey: CCTV shows 2 women in gun battle with Istanbul police after attack on station

      CCTV footage shows two women engaged in a gunfight with police outside a police station in the Bayrampasa district of Istanbul, Thursday, reportedly just minutes after they had attacked the building with grenades.

      It is reported that the two attackers are trapped inside a nearby apartment building where they fled after the attack. They were surrounded by armed police units, who were preparing to storm the building at the time of writing.

      No official casualty figures have been released.
