
Russia: Pamela Anderson awarded for animal rights work by Presidential Administration
Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Ivanov awarded actress Pamela Anderson with a certificate naming her a custodian of an Amur leopard in Moscow, Monday. The Baywatch star met with Ivanov earlier on Monday to discuss environmental and animal rights issues.
The former Baywatch star decided to name the rare cat ‘Pamela’ after herself. Apart from the certificate, Anderson also received a photograph of the leopard.
Pamela the leopard lives in the 'Land of the Leopards' national park close to the Chinese border.
