
USA: Police monitor 'high-risk incident' in Neenah, reports of hostages taken
Armed police launched a manhunt in Neenah, Wisconsin, on Saturday following reports that an active gunman has taken hostages in a motorcycle shop in the city. One person has reportedly been taken to hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound.
The Neenah Police Department posted on social media that they were "monitoring a high risk incident in the 200 Blk of Main St."
Police are advising residents close to the Main Street area to stay away from their windows and to seek shelter in a basement while the operation continues.
Around 30 shots were reportedly fired in the Eagle Nation Cycles shop and it is believed that there are still people in the basement of the store.
