
France: Putin and Netanyahu talk military cooperation at COP21
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21), in Paris, Monday. Putin took the opportunity to praise Netanyahu's idea of increasing military contact between Russia and Israel, commending the proposition as "efficient."
The Israeli leader also talked up the military cooperation between their respective countries, stating "the events of recent days prove the importance of our coordination, our deconfliction mechanisms, our attempts to cooperate with each other to prevent unnecessary accidents and tragedies."
More than 150 Heads of State and Government are expected to gather for the COP21, taking place in the French capital from 30 November to 11 December.
