
Russia: Vladivostok HQ set-up to co-ordinate air traffic with Egypt
The operational headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) started working at Vladivostok airport Saturday, as well as in various other Russian airports, coordinating with Egyptian authorities.
Reportedly, these headquarters, located in different Russian cities, aim to provide operational work in order to inform people about the current situation related to the air traffic between Russia and Egypt.
On Friday, President Vladimir Putin supported the suggestion to suspend flights from Russia to Egypt's airports until the cause of the Kogalymavia A-321 Airbus crash in the Sinai peninsula is established.
