
State of Palestine: Israeli forces injure at least 30 protesters in Bethlehem
Violence escalated between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces near the Belal mosque in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, Friday, after protesters clashed with Israeli forces.
Israeli forces used tear gas and stun grenades against the protesters, seriously injuring more than 30. Casualties are expected to increase as ongoing clashes continue.
Violence has escalated across the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Israel in recent weeks. At least 61 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli occupation forces, with over 2,120 injured. In the same period, at least nine Israelis are believed to have died as a result of attacks.
