
Russia: Putin chairs Russian Security Council meeting in Sochi
Russian President Vladimir Putin chaired a meeting of the Security Council of Russia in Sochi, Saturday.
Putin and the ministers discussed the situation in Syria and the operation of Russia's Air Forces in the country. Russian domestic issues were also on the agenda for the meeting.
As well as the Russian president, the meeting was attended by Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu.
