The head of Rossotrudnichestvo, the Russian agency charged with ties to the CIS countries and international humanitarian cooperation, Lyubov Glebova, was in attendance.

Glebova stated that Rossotrudnichestvo is working hard "to select students who will come into the industry as highly trained and highly qualified personnel", adding that she was keen to see the creation of "an enabling environment for professional activities".

The Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Russian Space Agency Yuri Koptev, was also present. Koptev said that Eurasian Economic Union members must "attract and use the potential of these countries" to "impact space activities".
