Egypt: 25 dead after massive blaze engulfs furniture factory in Obour
Some 25 Egyptian workers were killed, with another 22 injured, after a furniture factory went up in flames in the Egyptian city of Obour, Tuesday.
Emergency services were still struggling to tame the fire after the three-story building was set alight, reportedly following a gas tank explosion inside the factory.
Some 23 firefighting trucks were brought out to help tackle the blaze, with surrounding factories evacuating their premises in the fear that the fire may spread.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
