UK: Lifeboat rescues four from yacht ran aground in storm
A Mudeford lifeboat crew rescued four people from a yacht which ran aground in stormy weather between Lymington and Poole, Sunday.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) volunteers left their lifeboat station shortly after noon and reached the boat called Ibis shortly after. The people on board were then saved one by one.
Local press reported that the people on the yacht had decided to sit out the bad weather by heading for Christchurch Harbour. On their way, however, they ran aground due to tidal conditions.
