Producers and cast members celebrated the upcoming release of the movie 'Warcraft' at Comic-Con in San Diego, Saturday. Based on the Warcraft video-game series, the epic fantasy film will be released in 2016.
Warcraft director Duncan Jones said "we wanted to make a film which everyone would be interested in, which goes beyond just the Warcraft audience." To this end, he cited the challenge of bringing Lord of the Rings to the big screen. "It was a similar challenge that Peter Jackson had when he did the first Lord of the Rings movies, you know, how do you appeal to an audience that hasn't read Tolkien. He managed to make that work, we're hoping we can do the same."
