
Ukraine: Two killed in Right Sector attack as gun battle rages on in Mukachevo
The Ukrainian nationalist Right Sector group launched an attack on a traffic police station and a gym in the city of Mukachevo, Saturday, reportedly killing two people and wounding seven more.
Footage shows gunfire ringing out over the city, after special divisions of the National Guard of Ukraine dispatched to Mukachevo to assist in the capture of the Right Sector fighters. The group reportedly arrived at the gym, owned by local legislator Mikhail Lanyo, in off-road vehicles before engaging in a shoot-out with place.
Among those injured were 4 civilians and 3 policemen, with two of those hurt in the attack in critical condition, according to Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has instructed law enforcement to disarm and detain the attackers.
