
Russia: Hundreds attend Great Patriotic War commemoration in Moscow
Hundreds of people were present at the yearly ceremony at the Victory Monument on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow to commemorate the start of the Great Patriotic War, Monday.
The commemoration was attended by residents of the capital and veterans, who laid flowers at the monument in remembrance of all those killed during the war.
It is exactly 74 years since Nazi Germany attacked the USSR, leaving over 26 million Soviets dead in less than four years.
