Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in St. Petersburg, Friday, during the International Economic Forum.

The two leaders met on the sidelines of the forum to discuss bilateral trade and economic ties. "Greece is one of Russia's most important partners in Europe," Putin said. However, the Russian leader lamented a recent fall in the volume of trade between the two countries.
