Switzerland: 'Blatter not stepping down from FIFA' says personal consultant
Klaus Stohlker, personal consultant to FIFA president Sepp Blatter, said that Blatter is not stepping down soon from his role, speaking in Zurich, Tuesday.
Stohlker said he is "convinced that there is a big game going on" inside FIFA in order to gain more power. But Blatter is "acting president for the next eight to ten months at least", he said.
Sepp Blatter, who had headed the worldwide football organisation FIFA since 1998, was re-elected this year, but resigned on June 2, after the United States government indicted several FIFA officials for bribery and money laundering.
