
Russia: Moscow “actively engaged” in implementing Iranian nuclear deal - Lavrov
Russia remains “actively engaged” in seeking a resolution to issues surrounding Iran's nuclear programme, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference that followed bilateral talks with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif in Moscow on Thursday.
Lavrov confirmed that Moscow intended to fulfil all its obligations in accordance with previous agreements, adding that all parties must adhere “to the agreed political framework.”
Russia's top diplomat also praised bilateral relations between Moscow and Tehran, saying they "have been developing very successfully in accordance with the instructions of our presidents."
