Ukraine: Bomb blast hits Poroshenko-owned Roshen sweet shop
An explosive device was set off outside a confectionary store owned by President Petro Poroshenko's Roshen chain, in the area near Kiev's Metro Minska station late Thursday night.
No one was hurt in the blast, which left scorch marks on the side of the building and damaged goods inside the shop. Police say the precise nature of the explosive device remains unknown. Law enforcers say it was placed between the outside wall and exterior air-conditioning unit.
So far police have termed the incident an act of "hooliganism."
