Lebanon: Have the Arab people asked Riyadh to attack Yemen? asks Nasrallah
Speaking on the conflict in Yemen, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, said that "the real reason for this war, is the reinforcement and dominance of America and Saudi on Yemen," during a public address in Beirut's southern Dahieh district on Friday.
In the speech, which was given under the banner of 'Solidarity with Yemen', Nasrallah criticised the the Saudi-led bombing campaign asking "have the Arab people delegated the Saudi rulers to launch a war in their name?."
Criticising the idea that this was an united Arab conflict, the head of Hezbollah asked rhetorically, against whom this "Arab war" was being fought. "Against an Arab nation?," he asked.
At the same meeting Nasrallah stressed that his party and the Future Movement (Mustaqbal) party, which is in the Lebanese government, should respect each other's divergent views on the conflict in Yemen.
