
USA: Ferguson protesters rip up and trample on U.S. flags
Ferguson protesters displayed their anger with the Ferguson Police department and the U.S. justice system in Ferguson, Missouri, Sunday, by ripping up U.S. flags, throwing them to the ground and trampling on them.
The anger was sparked by a pro-police rally by around 50 police supporters who were calling Ferguson protesters "scum" and "unemployed thugs" .
A small group of about 15 Ferguson protesters faced up to the pro-police marchers who eventually ran to seek shelter in the police department. Only verbal clashes took place, with no violence or physical clashes.
