Ukraine: 'We do a righteous thing' says Serbian DNR volunteer
Serbian volunteer Dejan Vujic said he was fighting on the side of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DNR/DPR) in order to help Russians, explaining that "they have always helped us."
Speaking in Donetsk, Monday, Vujic stressed however that "Russia was not directly involved in this conflict," saying that if they were, the war "would be over in three days."
"We do a righteous thing," he added.
Vujic has fought alongside his compatriot Dejan Beric on the side of the DNR during the conflict in eastern Ukraine, including in the battle for control of Donetsk International Airport.
