Italy: 'My English is incredible' PM Renzi cracks joke about his language skills
Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi joked about his English-language skills during a press conference following a meeting with Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, in Rome on Thursday.
Renzi was asked in English about his opinion of Stoltenberg since the Norwegian took over as Nato chief, and about the most pressing issues NATO faces today. While Matteo Renzi began to answer in English, he decided to switch to Italian after making light of the situation. "My English is absolutely incredible and beautiful, but the real reason is the terror, the terror of my spokesman is exactly, the answer will be in English," he said.
