Greece: 'European elite want to undermine SYRIZA-led gov' - Tsipras
Some 'circles within the Eurozone want to undermine the new Greek government,' Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said while addressing SYRIZA's parliamentary group in Athens, Tuesday.
The new Greek leader criticised the Eurozone for replacing European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici's initial bailout proposal on Monday with a 'provocative' new document. He also reaffirmed Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis' comments that SYRIZA was wlling to sign the original document on Monday before the change was made at the very last minute.
Tsipras went on to warn the European elite against playing with the 'future' of Europe, before reiterating his party's commitment to ending the 'subjection, depression, misery and indignity' of the Greek people.
