Belgium: Brussels protesters remember Odessa massacre
Protesters gathered outside a European Parliament building in Brussels on Monday to commemorate the lives of those who died in the Odessa massacre of May 2, 2014 and decry the violence currently occurring in eastern Ukraine.
The demonstrators carried President of Russia and Novorossiya flags, with some wearing buttons reading ‘Remember Odessa’. One protester stated that while there were Americans in Europe, and while NATO existed, there would be war in the region, and women and children would die.
Some 42 anti-Maidan activists died after being trapped inside Odessa's Trade Union House in May 2014.
