
UN: Churkin calls on West to 'stop egging on Ukrainian hawks'
Russian ambassador to the United Nations Vitali Churkin called on the West "to stop egging on Ukrainian hawks" during a UN Security Council meeting in New York on Monday. Churkin added that such actions will only "lead to an even greater catastrophe."
The Security Council held an emergency meeting to discuss the situation in east Ukraine and Yemen, following recent developments in the respective regions.
