USA: Jeb Bush 'seriously considering' presidential run
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has created a leadership PAC to consider the possibility of running for President, he said Friday in San Francisco. His words came as he spoke at the annual convention of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA).
Bush, the younger brother of former President George W. Bush, said he has not officially set up an exploratory committee ahead of a potential run to become the Republican nominee for president. Speaking on a variety of issues, he called drilling and hyrdraulic fracturing (also known as 'fracking') in the United States an "oil revolution," and stated that he believed the recent terror attacks in France underscore a need to remain vigilant in the face of security threats.
