      Chile: Watch as EXPLOSION rocks Santiago metro station

      An explosion rocked the Los Leones metro station in Santiago on Wednesday. It has been reported that two blasts occurred, and are believed to be an attempt to blow up an ATM in order to steal cash.

      The station was closed down and police and firefighters attended the scene. Witnesses report that three people, whose faces were covered, fled the scene in a vehicle.

      There are no reported injuries from the blasts. A metro spokesperson released a statement saying that services should resume to their normal schedule on Thursday.
