USA: "Law enforcement need retraining after Ferguson" - Hillary Clinton
U.S. law enforcement and the justice system will require "some retraining and some additional outreach" in an effort to ensure that all citizens believe that they are equal under the law, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Friday in Washington, DC. Her words came as she addressed the Saban Forum at the Willard Hotel.
Clinton also discussed Middle East policy and U.S. relations with Russia, stating that she believed Russian foreign policy is one of the main challenges to the United States coming from abroad. She also said she thought relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin "will be a long term effort."
The Saban Forum gathers U.S. and Israeli officials and policymakers to discuss relationships between the two countries. It is organised by the Saban Group and hosted by the Centre for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution each year.
