Australia: Dilma Rousseff leaves G20 summit in Brisbane
Brazil's recently re-elected President Dilma Rousseff left Australia for her home country on Sunday after attending the G20 summit in Brisbane.
After recently winning the Brazilian elections by a narrow margin of 51.6% to 48.4%, Rousseff chaired a BRICS meeting at the G20 summit. Rousseff also led the Sixth BRICS summit in Fortaleza earlier this year, where the group agreed to create the New Development Bank (NDB, formerly BRICS Development Bank).
India's Narendra Modi has branded Rousseff's recent leadership of the BRICS as "visionary."
