
Belgium: Ukraine-Russia gas talks set to continue in Brussels
Talks between representatives from Russia, Ukraine and the European Union (EU) are set to continue for a second day in Brussels on Thursday, as the three sides continue to negotiate Russian gas supplies to Ukraine through the winter.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, European Commission Vice-President Gunter Oettinger and Ukrainian Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan are due to announce the outcome of the talks later in the day.
The officials had failed to reach a comprehensive agreement at a previous meeting on October 21.
