
Russia: Blatter lauds Russian preparation for 2018 World Cup as "better than Brazil"
Russia’s preparation for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2018 were praised by the President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Sepp Blatter, on Tuesday.
The 78-year-old FIFA president expressed his confidence in the success of the forthcoming 2018 World Cup and stated that compared to Brazil four years ago, Russia is “far in advance” regarding preparation.
Blatter arrived in Moscow on Monday to conduct talks with members of the Russian World Cup organising committee, and to participate in the presentation of the 2018 World Cup logo.
