Colombia: See FARC supporters CLASH with Bogota police
Affiliates of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) clashed with riot police in Bogota Friday during a march purportedly held to commemorate the killing of FARC Eastern Bloc commander Victor Julio Suarez Rojas. Organised by the Bolivarian Movement among other groups, the march took place in the university district of the Colombian capital.
The Colombian Army say they killed Suarez Rojas in La Escalera near Serrania de La Macarena, in September 2010. Suarez Rojas was also FARC Chief of Military Operations and a member of the FARC Secretariat.
