USA: This new technology turns you into an ACTION FIGURE
Eager individuals dreaming of making action figures of themselves lined up Sunday at New York Comic Con to be "scanned" with technology from company 3D Systems. Once an individual is scanned, a 3D image is produced that can then be printed with a 3D printer.
According to 3D Systems Chief Marketing Officer Keith Ozar, most people wishing to be scanned do so in order to make action figures of themselves, although others hope to be able to make costumes for cosplaying.
First held in 2006, an estimated 150,000 visitors are attending New York Comic Con this year.
