
Hong Kong: Conflicts between protesters intensify in Mong Kok
Tensions were high between anti-government protesters and those opposed to the ongoing demonstrations in Hong Kong's Mong Kok district on Saturday.
Fights between the two sides took place earlier on in the day, meanwhile more police have been deployed to prevent violent clashes after 18 people were injured on Friday.
Sit-in demonstrations have taken place in Hong Kong in the past, but the current anti-government protests are among the largest the Special Administrative Region of China has experienced in decades.
According to reports, up to 80,000 people attended demos on Monday and Tuesday.
