      Spain: Watch Catalan protesters CLASH with police during protest camp eviction

      Around 100 policemen evicted a 10-tent protest camp set up on Catalonia Square in Barcelona on Thursday, where around 80 independence-protesters intended to spend the night.

      Protesters demonstrated against the suspension of consultation over Catalan independence by the Spanish Constitutional Tribunal. Police took the tents by force and surrounded the protesters until the area was cleared, leaving immediately afterwards.
