Germany: iPhone 6 fans queue for DAYS outside Berlin store
Around 100 Apple fans stood in front of Berlin’s Apple store, Thursday, one day ahead of the much-anticipated release of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.
Apple enthusiasts coming from countries such as Belarus and Poland have been waiting in line for days, relying on cafes’ toilets for personal hygiene and local supermarkets and restaurants for food. Fans are allowed to leave the queue in turns for 20-minute breaks.
Two German men were the first to secure a position in the queue on Saturday and have since been camping outside the store. Apple will start selling its new smartphones on September 19.
