A machine gunner from the Donbass battalion was buried outside Kiev on Wednesday, with a sermon from a priest of the White Church. Kolomiytsev was a member of the Svoboda party and was 44 years old, he is succeeded by three children.
He was born on May 21, 1970 in the village of Stems in the Cherkasy region. Later he joined the White Church and in 1987 he enrolled at a tank school. From 1990 to 1994 he worked at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and in 1994 he became an entrepreneur.
Kolomiytsev took an active part in the Maidan events with members of the Svoboda party. From April 2014 he joined Svoboda and soon signed up with the Donbass battalion as a machine gunner. He was killed in the Illovayskomu 'cauldron' in early September.
