Spain: Solidarity with Donbass - punk rockers fundraise with gig
A benefit concert in Alsasua-Navarra drew hundreds of fans Saturday in solidarity with the anti-fascist resistance caravan destined to the Donbass region.
Carlos Torrijas, member of the solidarity organisation Euskal Herria-Donbas, said that the event was organised to gather funds to add to the efforts started by the Italian punk band Banda Bassotti.
Banda Bassotti has been on the road to raise money and awareness about the Ukrainian crisis, inspiring hundreds of local bands across Europe to jump on the anti-fa bandwagon.
It is believed that the band plans to travel to Donbass on the end of September, where they will provide aid and live music to the people of Donbass suffering during the conflict.
