Russia: Lavrov says 'Lugansk needs more humanitarian aid'
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the "humanitarian crisis has not ended" in eastern Ukraine, and that according to the Red Cross, the Lugansk population still "needs humanitarian aid." He made the comments at a press conference in Moscow, Monday.
Lavrov added that the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reports continued shelling of the city, and continued deprivation of its inhabitants.
Lavrov also confirmed that Russian humanitarian aid delivered to Lugansk is set to be distributed in eastern Ukraine. This is after several days of delay by the Ukrainian side.
