
Germany: "We made definite progress at 4-way Ukraine talks," says Steinmeier
Talks at settling the crisis in eastern Ukraine will continue after foreign ministers report back to their respective leaders , German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said Sunday in Berlin. His words came as he met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius at Villa Borsig in the German capital's Tegel lake district.
Steinmeier added that ensuring proper border controls on the Russia-Ukraine border remains a priority, as does securing a ceasefire between the Kiev government and anti-Kiev groups.
