
Ukraine: Shelling hits Premier League football stadium in Lugansk
Kiev forces shelled Stadium Avantegarde on Friday, home to Ukrainian Premier League club FC Zorya Lugansk. The entrance to the building was riddled with holes, with damaged pillars and holes etched in the ground. No casualties were reported.
Over 250 civilians have lost their lives in Lugansk alone since Kiev launched its military offensive in the country's east, while over 850 have been wounded. Over 1,100 people have been killed and 3,500 injured in total in eastern Ukraine, while some 100,000 people remain internally displaced.
