Russia: Spectacular show celebrates Russia-Crimea reunification
A bike show celebrating the reunion of the Russian and Ukrainian people began in Sevastopol on Friday evening, with bikers from Russia, Finland, Sweden and the Czech Republic performing tricks, and actors staging scenes of confrontation between Berkut and Maidan activists.
Guns and tanks with Russian and Ukrainian flags formed part of the performance, which also included dance, a fire globe and music from several Russian rock bands. A firework display was staged at the peak of the show.
Crimea became part of Russia on the March 18 after unilaterally voting in favour of the decision.
