France: Marine Le Pen philosophical after Farage snub
Leader of the French National Front Marine le Pen briefed journalists on Wednesday on the failure of her party to form a group in the European Parliament.
She downplayed any negative implications, saying that a group can be formed at any time and she was confident this would be achieved by the end of the year.
She said it was "regrettable" that Nigel Farage's UK Independence Party declined to join the National Front in a unified group which would have been the third largest in the parliament.
