      Belgium: Ashton announces more sanctions against Russian individuals

      Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy told the press on Monday in Brussels that Europe has decided to add 13 individuals to the list of those subject to an asset ban and travel ban, bring the total to 61.

      Ukraine dominated the discussion among the European foreign ministers monthly meeting, with the OSCE calling for the largest observation mission in the history of the organisation to take place on May 25 during Ukraine's presidential elections.

      However, Ashton also gave brief statements regarding the Middle East Peace talks and the recent Boko Haram abduction of over 200 Nigerian girls.
