Slovakia: Barroso confirms Slovak gas for Ukraine

The president of the European Union, Jose Manual Barroso, met with Prime Minister Robert Fico in Bratislava on Monday, to mark the anniversary of the day Slovakia joined the European Union on May 1, 2004.

During a press conference following his meeting with Fico, Barroso congratuled the decision of Slovakia to supply gas from Slovakia to Ukraine, in a step to diversify Ukrain'es source of energy.
